About Me
Hey, I'm Lacy. I'm a science nerd, sports enthusiast, and lover of people! I live in Columbia, SC while I work on my PhD in Environmental Health Sciences. Foundations of Beauty speaks to my mission to find the beauty in all things. My PhD focuses heavily on science communication and soil science. Soil is the foundation we walk on and provides a medium for life to grow from. Communication is the foundation of relationships, learning, and sharing information. Lastly, ingredients and simple routines are the foundation for all skin care and makeup.
My undergraduate degree was in education and I really love getting to share my knowledge on simple swaps that are better for us and our planet. Limelife gives me the perfect platform to do just that! I'm also an avid sports fan. I played DI softball in college and have coached at a variety of levels. Now I love watching sports, cheering my teams on, and seeing women be empowered through the opportunities sports can provide. LimeLife has become an outlet for me and has given me my sisters and teammates now that my playing days are over. Most of the time I'm in a lab or outside in the field, so I love the chance I have here to do something a little more feminine and for myself. Overall, I'm an extrovert and really love people. I love the friends I've made here, cheering on my girls, and crushing goals together.
